Why is Lu, not Wu leave UTStarcom?

See below news release from UT, Everyone was talking about that Wu will leave UT, nobody noticed Lu, why the final result show such a inverse situation?
According to some Chinese media, From early this year, Lu came to China frequently, he also tried to let more Chinese employees to know him. Insiders say this is a sign that he will replace Wu.
It is funny that Lu not Wu stay in UT. But from my perspective, Wu is welcomed by media, by his employee, Wu has clear insight on UT's product line and market. I hope Wu can survive UT this time.
