4/3/2007, According to first financial Journal, Both Huawei and ZTE are working on their big new manufacturing base. A new industry park of ZTE will begin to operate from year 2008. Huawei invested 2billion RMB on their Dongguan and Langfang base.
ZTE's new park has a 440,000 square meter area with capacity supporting 15,000 employees. ZTE spokesman said the park was an important part of ZTE's next step strategy.
Although Huawei denied the exist of their Dongguan and Langfang manufacturing base, but according to local government, Huawei will build a cellphone base with revenue of 80billion in Songshan lake, Dongguan. In Langfang, Huawei will focous on optical network equipments etc. There will be three world-class factory with total revenue 10billion RMB.
