Tietong got licence on international services

4/11/2007, China Tietong(Railcom) today announced that they had got the licences on international telecommunication services. A spokeman from Tietong said their new licence supported them to have international voice, data, internet services. From this new licencs, Tietong can save millions of RMB each year on international service operating cost.

In order to support international railway operating, Tietong has build cross-border cable in the cities of Shenzhen, Suifenhe, Manzhouli, erlianhaote etc, to make communication with North Korea, Russia, Mongolia, HongKong special zone etc. Totally, Tietong owns 10Gbps international communication capacity.

Before Tietong, China telecom, China Mobilcom, China Unicom and China Netcom all had similar licences.
